Facilitate member mills for availing funds under various schemes of NSDC through TSC like PMKVY (fund assistance uptoRs.10,000 per trainee), train the unemployed youth and get job opportunity in the member mills of SIMA

Provide various technical assistance and also help in all policy related matters of TSC through various sub-committees and also the Board

SIMA is affiliated to TSC as Training Provider to conduct training of trainers programme covering all the segments in Textiles

Assist TSC for performance evaluation, conducting orientation programmes for the assessors, preparing the curriculum for different job roles, etc.

Assist TSC / CITI jointly with the textile research associations (SITRA, BTRA and NITRA) to prepare training handbook, trainer handbook and also for conducting skill gap analysis study
